Maritime-Themed Domino Game Rules

Setup

  • Players: 2-4 players.
  • Tiles: Use a full double-six domino set (28 tiles).
  • Distribution:
    • 2 Players: Each player draws 7 tiles.
    • 3-4 Players: Each player draws 5 tiles.
  • The remaining tiles form the boneyard (draw pile).

Gameplay

  • Starting the Game:
    • The player holding the most modern double starts (e.g., Futuristic Yacht, 6|6).
    • If no one has a double, players draw from the boneyard until one is found.
  • Turns:
    • Players take turns placing tiles that match one side of the existing line.
    • If a player cannot play, they must draw from the boneyard until they can or until it is empty.
  • Winning the Round:
    • The first player to place all their tiles wins the round.
    • If no one can play and the boneyard is empty, the game is blocked. The player with the fewest pips (dots or ship figures) wins.
